St Ives

St Ives brick is certainly one of our most popular bricks. In this brick, you're going to find plenty of variation in both colour - beige, white and black mixed throughout - and texture - a distinctive 'crumpled' effect. 
 
 
The St Ives blends well with another similar brick, the Abbotsley Antique, and a dark brown cedar. The project images featured here are a blend of these two. The bricklayer used a ratio of 70:30, and used a thicker-than-usual white mortar to create this distinctive effect.
